certainly. 39 by 6 o'clock and 40 by 8 o'clock with those numbers above average and this afternoon we have an above average day as well. 53 degrees by noon. fair amount of sunshine today. light winds and 58 degrees is your forecast high. we do have some rain arriving later tonight. that could extend into tomorrow morning's commute. i'll have details on that with future tracker6, karen. >> all right, dave, we've got a couple of problems with disabled vehicles this morning. here's one. this is the schuylkill westbound past the conshohocken curve as you head towards the blue route you'll be dealing with that. also in hatfield township, over here montgomery county a new disabled vehicle here on bergey road at richmond road. as we take a live look at i-95, here we're looking live approaching cottman, that's your southbound traffic headed towards center city. the overhead lights are out it's a dark ride in. be careful of that. all lanes are opened so you should be all right. just take it easy. let's hop into new jersey. this is what it looks like on 42. that's northbound traffic at creek road. a pretty easy 13 minute ride from the a.c. expressway to the walt whitman bridge so coming up from turnersville blackwood or deptford you're
looking good. one issue in new jersey we have is some emergency road work that's going on right now in mercer county. they've shut down 206 at lover's lane so if you're in this area stick to mercer road as your alternate, matt. >> thanks karen. we're following developing news here. police follow a trail of knives and debris to the scene of a double shooting. it all happened while a one-year-old boy was nearby. "action news" reporter katherine scott is live at the east detectives division with the latest on this investigation. katherine. >> reporter: matt, two men were shot, one is in critical condition, the other is in stable condition. when the gunman fled, he left with several family members including a one-year-old boy and police are particularly concerned about that little boy because they say he was in the home at the time those shots were fired so they want to make sure he's okay and detectives here at the east division are investigating this case. investigators are hearing that this started with an argument, that people on both sides of that argument live in separate apartments on the second floor of a row home on the 3900 block of north percy street in
hunting park. police say that argument turned physical. knives were involved. then someone pulled a gun. just before midnight, police were called out for a report of a person with a weapon. when officers got there, the front door was wide open. a trail of blood along the steps and walls led them upstairs. >> when the officers checked the property to see if there was anyone injured inside they saw an obvious sign avenue violent struggle. there were three knives on the second floor hallway floor. there were broken glasses, a broken beer bottle. there was things spilled. >> reporter: and what police -- while police were in that apartment they learned two men in their 20's with multiple gun shot wounds showed up by private auto to the hospital and then they connected this to that case. police know who they're looking for. they know the names of the people but they haven't released them yet. live in hunting park, katherine scott, channel6 "action news. >> katherine thank you for that. new here on "action news"
the fire marshal is looking into an early morning blaze in southwest philadelphia. the flames broke out around midnight. they quickly spread through two floors avenue row home on guyer avenue near 64th street. no reports, though, of injuries. no one was home when a fire broke out in gloucester township, new jersey. firefighters hosed down the smoldering scene late last night. flames melted through all of the front porch, in fact leaving nothing but the frame behind. the calls of that fire is not yet known. >> a bensalem high school student is accused of selling marijuana brownies to middle schoolers. 18-year-old jacob francisco faces charges of possession of marijuana with intender to deliver and corruption of minors. a group of seventh graders at shafer middle school ate the drug laced brownies last week. fellow classmates notified teachers who reported it to police. >> ♪ >> in politics now, front runners donald trump and hillary clinton looking to sweep several key states. today's results could mean the
end of the road for some of the other candidates. abc's stephanie ramos is live in alexandria, virginia, where those polls will open up at 6:00 a.m. good morning, stephanie. >> reporter: good morning, to you. you got it, voters can cast their ballots starting at 6 o'clock this morning here in alexandria, virginia and as soon as polls close in all 12 states, we could effectively have nominees for both parties. super tuesday is here. the biggest voting day of the year leading up to the general election. voters in a dozen states and a u.s. territory will go to the polls today with 1610 delegates at stake. hours before polls open, the candidates zigzagging across the country holding rallies trying to nab those last minute votes in order to snag their party's nomination. >> let me be very clear to the men and women of texas. i will not compromise away your religious liberties. >> reporter: ted cruz hoping to win big in his home state of texas. talking religious liberty and the supreme court nomination.
>> you know what they say about men with small hands. >> reporter: marco rubio's barrage of insults against donald trump subsiding by the end of the day but at a trump rally in virginia tension. >> get them out. >> reporter: a large group of student protestors marched out of the event and as they passed, a photographer from time magazine thrown to the ground by a secret service agent. the secret service now investigating. >> i don't think america has ever stopped being great. what we need to do now is make america whole. >> reporter: hillary clinton hoping to keep her lead over bernie sanders. >> now it is time for massachusetts to lead the political revolution. >> reporter: but a fundraising e-mail from clinton shows her looking beyond sanders and targeting gop frontrunner donald trump, the latest national polls showing 49 percent of republican voters would support a president trump. here in virginia many more voters are expected to turn

up over the horizon. not a lot of cloud cover in this shot. temperature 40 degrees. a couple disturbs in the 30's. winds running at 7 miles per hour really isn't too bad out there. get your coat on get going. 40 degrees in philadelphia, still 36 in allentown, down to 38 in wilmington, 42 trenton, 40 reading. millville is one of the colder spots still staying down below the freezing mark there and 43 in wildwood. satellite though shows that you cloud cover really starting to not only hang up to the north of us but also falling apart a little bit. it's also going to be mild today. 40 degrees by 8 o'clock, 44 by 10 o'clock. by noon, you have hit the 50-degree mark and by 3 o'clock, 58 degrees as march indeed is arriving like a lamb. it's going to be well above average this afternoon, light winds and a good looking day. high temperatures up in the lehigh valley little bit cooler but not bad, 55 degrees there. 56 is your high in reading. 54 in trenton. 56 in wilmington. and millville and about five
and a four down in cape may, new jersey, this afternoon. then later tonight, and we're starting future tracker at 8 o'clock, the clouds will be thicker and after about 9 o'clock or so, there could be a couple of light sprinkles and showers around and then we get later into the overnight and into tomorrow morning and there are a few more showers. it does look like the bulk of this will probably be coming through during at least the first part of the morning commute. by about 8 o'clock, though, it looks like most of that is off the coast and then we'll probably start returning some sunshine into play. the other big thing about tomorrow, though, is that behind that front we get that typical march blustery wind building in. gusting to 40 miles per hour tomorrow. it will turn sunny tomorrow. we'll get a high of 49 early in the day but it will be blustery through the day and then that temperature is going to start to fall. by dinnertime we'll be back down around 40. your exclusive accuweather 7-day bright and still nice today so as tam mentioned today is a great day to get out there and get stuff done if you have stuff to do and then tomorrow we get rain early in the morning. sun coming back but it will be blustery and again that

watch for his on street road near westtown road. let's check the temperatures. it's 40 degrees in philadelphia. chillier than it was yesterday. only 30 in millville. 36 degrees in allentown but the afternoon is going to be pretty nice. 58 degrees so before the cold weather comes, get out there and enjoy it today, tam. >> okay, i'll do my best. thank you, karen. developing right now police in southern california are searching for a man who led them on a chase with his two young children and their mother in the car. this all started as a domestic dispute in los angeles county almost 12 hours ago. the woman has a restraining order against this suspect. he's wanted for suspicion of kidnapping. so the chase took a bizarre turn with the suspect stopping at several intersections even calling police when his car battery died the suspect ran off into the brush leaving the woman and the children behind. they were not physically hurt. he's still out there. >> the man accused of a deadly shooting spree inside a planned parenthood in colorado springs is speaking out behind bars explaining what he says drove him to kill.
